Overlocker basics one to one class

Learn to love your overlocker with this absolute beginners class. We know that using an overlocker for the first time can be intimidating. Mend can help you to get started with a personal service, one to one support and leave you feeling confident to get the most out of your machine. Mend will show you: How to thread your overlocker How to adjust settings correctly Demonstrate useful stitch options to finish garments Help you practice a range of seam and hem finishes How to sew a simple jersey skirt project on the machine. This is a bring your own overlocker ticket. Contact us if you need to rent an overlocker for the class using our 'rent a sewing machine' service. Our classes can take place in our home studio, at your home or in a community venue by appointment. Please suggest a time during our working hours and we will contact you to confirm we can attend at that time and location. The class includes expert instruction, tools, threads etc, printed handouts, plus tea, coffee and biscuits! We also offer this class as a private party for groups of 5 or 6 if preferred. Please note that you are responsible for the safety of your own sewing machine and any damage caused by the machine in the unlikely event that there is a problem during the class. You'll receive a confirmation email upon booking and you’ll also receive a reminder email the week before your class. If you don’t receive these, please check your junk/spam folder.
