My name is Emma and I am Creative Director at MEND. sewing & making.

 

I found my love of sewing in 2017 as a beginner and aspired to make a handmade wardrobe. Now I have sewn a collaction of my own garments, I want to share sewing with others as a skill. Sewing not only helps us to be kinder to the planet through removing the manufacturing and transit of garments, but helps us to design our own clothes and make them more resilient.

Having started my own business sewing alterations to garments I can also help you to learn how to improve the fit of your ready to wear garments as part of our garment hacking workshops.
